How this works
Every country on Earth is a cluster of blocks on one map. Sponsor a country and it becomes yours to colour — until somebody wants it more than you do.

Pick a country
Click any country on the map to see what it costs right now. Nobody has to have claimed it first — most of the map is still open.

Post your link and pick a colour
Your colour floods every block of that country, and your favicon is pinned to the block nearest its middle. Hovering the country shows your link to anyone on the map.

Hold it until someone wants it more
There is no expiry and no lock. Whoever has paid the most holds the country, and anyone can take it by paying more. When they do, your link comes down.
What it costs
Prices sit on a ladder of $5 steps. An unsponsored country opens at $5. Taking an occupied one costs at least $5 more than the sponsor before you — and at most $50 more, so nobody can drop $1,000 on a country going for $50.

The cap is on the raise, not on the price — the ladder keeps climbing as long as people keep taking countries from each other. You pick your amount from a list of tiers, so there is no way to fat-finger a number.
Questions people ask
- Do I get the country forever?
- No. Someone can take it from you the minute after you buy it. That is the game — the board is meant to keep moving.
- What happens when I'm taken over?
- Your link comes down and the new sponsor's colour replaces yours. You keep your spot in the takeover history on the front page.
- Where does my favicon come from?
- We fetch it from your site once, when your sponsorship goes live, and serve it from here — so visitors' browsers never call your server. If your site has no usable icon we show the first letter of your name instead.
- Can I change my link or colour later?
- Not yet. Sponsor the country again at the going rate to change either.
